Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile practices and principles.
- Remove obstacles and impediments that hinder the team’s progress.
- Collaborate with product owners to ensure the backlog is well-defined and prioritized.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Monitor team performance metrics and help identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide updates on team progress.
- Support the adoption of Agile practices across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Knowledge of scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) is a plus.
- Familiarity with software development processes and practices.
