Human Resource Manager

The Human Resource Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role involves managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and talent management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Staffing:
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Oversee the full cycle of the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.
    • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
  2. Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
    • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Implement and oversee programs that promote a positive employee experience.
  3. Performance Management:
    • Develop and manage performance appraisal systems to drive high performance.
    • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
    • Ensure alignment of performance management practices with organizational goals.
  4. Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and create development programs to enhance employee skills.
    • Organize and conduct training sessions and workshops.
    • Support career development and succession planning efforts.
  5. HR Policies and Compliance:
    • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements.
    • Ensure the organization’s adherence to labor laws and regulations.
    • Manage HR audits and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  6. Compensation and Benefits:
    • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
    • Conduct market research to ensure competitive pay and benefits packages.
    • Manage employee benefits enrollment and address related inquiries.
  7. HR Metrics and Reporting:
    • Develop and track HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Prepare and present reports on HR activities and outcomes to senior management.
    • Use data to identify trends and areas for improvement in HR practices.
  8. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
    • Provide guidance and support to HR staff on complex HR issues.
    • Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
