Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to support our product development and engineering efforts. This role involves creating precise technical designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that products meet performance, safety, and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and improve designs for mechanical, electrical, or product systems.
- Create 2D and 3D models using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Work with product managers, engineers, and clients to gather design requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and performance analysis.
- Revise drawings and models based on feedback and project updates.
- Prepare engineering documentation including BOMs, specifications, and test plans.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing and quality teams to support prototyping and production.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Product, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a design or engineering role.
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and design practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with simulation tools like ANSYS or MATLAB.
- Familiarity with additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping.
- Basic knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
